CHRIS>>>

Good move..... I THINK YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. I REALLY ENJOY THIS THREAD, AND ALL THE 'CREDITABLE POSTERS' IT ATTRACTS. With the moderated 'you' can moderate appropriately, this way we can eliminate da-muck!!
Great idea. I look forward to post here and reading allot. Thanks Chris!

overreaction - this thread has lost it's sense of humor (necessary ingredient for me -g-) and become too self important,

censorship has not worked very well on si,

rather than placing a banned person on a trophy case to show off to the public, like the low life clowns thread does, why not just put him on the ignore button.

One comment on the moderated thread, Chris. In general, as I have stated in the past, I am opposed to moderated threads because they breed insular thinking and intolerance of different views. I want my views challenged, albeit in a respectful, factual way; I hope whatever way the thread goes, that can be achieved. I think it's unfortunate that a couple of people have chosen to try to tear down you and Don in particular, rather than engaging your work in a thoughtful way. I don't know how to prevent that sort of destructive attack from happening, but I want to express my wish that Stock Attack, in whatever form it takes, continue to be a place where meaningful, thoughtful exchange can occur, and where dissenting views can be expressed. We may not change anyone else's mind, but we can always go back and say 'I told you so.' <ggg>
