<<My focus is on getting some longer term calls...and will probably buy leaps at some point as well as I don't think this "recession" will last that long...and many tech companies are going to start getting into easy year over year comparisons later this year. >> Well then you definately need to look at the 03 SUNW leaps....I grabbed $35's, as they were cheap, and $35 is a gap from about two weeks ago.....if we can't close a two week gap in two years, we are all in big trouble<ggg>...seriously though, those sunw 03 35's look great at anything under $10, and right now they are $6, off a high 500% higher.....also, take a look at the aol 03 ITM leaps...the $40's are going for about $18 or so and are already in the money.....I think aol will not only survive the dot.com bomb, but will be a massive gorilla in the years to come.......the aol leaps offer very attractive pricing as well....good luck....keith

Hello T2 I plan on buying puts (in SDLI) on Tuesday. Counting on a little run up on Monday and Tuesday. I go long and short as needed and don't fall in love with a stock. Fell in love most of 2000 (in various stocks) and now have tax loss' that can be carried forward for a number of years. Hopefully I'm a little bit smarter now. I expect JDSU to run up a little due to the merger vote on Monday, and expect uncle Al to soothe the nerves on Tuesday with some reassuring words, that he will do whatever is needed to prevent a recession. I am in and out in the same day or as long as two weeks. Do you have any thoughts on the subject? bodie
