Bob, does this mean Blodget has an accumulate rating on DoubleClick, but he thinks it might go to Zero?

HJ, Not only does he have a near-term Accumulate (second-best) rating on DCLK, he has a long-term Buy (best) rating on it.

BTW, a year ago, MSFT's current rating would have made it the absolute lowest rated stock in Blodget's coverage.

Merrill ought to clarify HB's statements about the risk rating because it paints them into an even deeper corner: How could you recommend buying stocks that you think might go to zero? Difficult to defend.

Following HB's logic, here are a few other "D" stocks that might be headed to zero: NVLS, GX, MCLD, VRSN, PCS, BRCD, STOR, and MCDT.
