lol. I have the latter. Patient, and they know me, and they don't want to lose the "big" account. They're neighbors. That and they make lots of money of me from overdraft charges. Someday I'm going to stop that, and SAVE or SPEND the money I pay them. Uhhuh.

Now that requires one of two things:

Neither of them is necessary if you just keep money in the account. <g>

I remember when banks first started paying interest on checking accounts. There was no longer any reason to keep a separate savings account. Of course, now that brokerages and mutual fund companies have branched out, there's no reason to have a bank account at all.
