To a limit. When the figures are collated, I think you will find that the big loser in Q3 and Q4 was those $400 PCs. Most of the real action seems to have been in the $800-$1200 range. Look at eMachines, their market is the under $800 and they are stacking 'em up in the warehouse. Consumers appear to have gotten more sophisticated, or the un-sophisticated buyers were looking at Pokemon collectables or something else. Features appear to be important, but not to the point that the more stuff a system has the more demand there is.
