another issue is the 2004 leaps come out on 6/1 I am pretty sure.if things are still bleak, we could see a 2004 amat 40 leap at 12-14 or less. those could go to 80.

Jerome, I'm reading Malkiel's "A random walk down Wallstreet" and according to him TA is useless and FA nearly so. He cites 10 year mutual fund performance and observes how it did worse than the SP500. All this is well known to most, I'm sure, and yet we persist in making predictions. :) He cites many academic studies to back his statements. Malkiel observes he has never met a rich technician. I have never met a rich academician either.
