Hi Paul,
I don't share that opinion for low-end chips, mainly because of how some of the OEMs responded to the gap in Intel's roadmap at the low-end as others have pointed out.

I think Intel (and the industry as a whole) didn't quite expect the low-end to take off like it did. Surprises yielded some opportunities and design-wins, while it appears Intel was focused on the higher-end chips.
