hi mag

first thing comes to mind when i read that is it is about nav2000. that's an old version. nav2001 has been out for more than a few months.

just as someone posted a few days ago about a java security issue with netscape communicator (and the article was from bugnet, i think), and the article even ended by stating, "so far netscape has not fixed this problem".... yet netscape had in fact released version4.76 which was a direct fix for this.

my instinct on this is that symantec has fixed this with a combination of a new product version and via liveupdate patches. in fact, the more i think of this, the more it comes back to me that this is old news that has been addressed. i think. <g>

but thank you for the piece, and i will continue to look into it.

:)

mark
