I mostly agree with the student loan program but with a qualification. I feel that anyone needing a loan should first do two years at a junior college and than after completing that, than transfer to the local state school. Kind of like how the Democrats say that we dont want to fund private schools. Well I especially don't see how it is in our interest to pay for someone to go to a school away from home so they can party. The exception for that would be those exceptional students who demonstrate great potential. Then that is irrelevant as they would qualify for scholarships. I did 2 years at a JC than went on to complete my Computer Science degree and the teaching I got at the JC was just as good if not better than the 4 year school. I got a real programmer rather than a TA.
