Midnightsun, I use primarily TA also. TA tells me when to go long or short a stock...PERIOD. But I do think FA has its place even as a trader. Now I probably swing trade more than day trade but I do incorporate SOME FA into my swing trades. Example:

I shorted LU the first part of March 2000 when they gapped it up to 74ish. TA told me to short it but FA supported my TA and gave me the ADDITIONAL confidence in my position to ride it more than a day or so. I could go on about other uses of FA for the trader (not talking about a 15 min trade or 10 trades in and out a day but more along the swing trade line).

I am 100% with you on the TA. The charts don't lie. The charts leave a money trail.
