W PAUL, <<suddenly so down on Harmony>> Maybe it's a disappointment, a failure of religious purity? Now even the most pious of the miners falls from grace? I don't think Harmony wanted to buy the puts, the bankers that needed to protect their ass insisted. Harmony buying puts is just increased cost from their perspective. However, in difficult times, one must do difficult things. Time will tell the impact on value, but buying puts isn't the heresy many believe. There were also recent concerns that Harmony would not give a dividend this quarter. Harmony issued the dividend. Did those folks buy HGMCY back? Probably not, most just like to worry. <VBG>
