Eph 6:10-18
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Thank you Father for your most precious word†

"satan is the son of perdition and the word of God bears that out!!"(Shalom )

Shalom, Here is the correct understanding of the "son of perdition. Hope you study it out instead of having your accusatory attitude against those who have a different understanding. There is no purpose to that and you should come down to our level and discuss this without rancor.

Revelation 17:9-13

9“Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.
12“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

The beast of revelation that is the son of perdition or plainly speaking so that you can understand, is the son of hell because that is his destination and is the SIXTH KING, Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, more commonly known by his adoptive name Nero!

But for His grace,

Santiago

shalom, there was no problem with the scriptures you posted only with your interpretation.

In the book of John, the 17th chapter we see Jesus praying not to men but to God.....These words spake Jesus , and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said Father,.....…. He goes on and talks about how he manifested God's name to the men God gave into his hands. Notice Jesus says he prays for them but not for the whole world, if fact
the entire discourse is about HIS and how he kept them and that none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scriptures might be fulfilled. I see nothing that even remotely refers to satan here.

You might recall that Jesus himself had this to say about Judas previously:
John 6 :70 Jesus said to them, `Did I not choose you twelve? And one of you is a devil!'

We should be able to see clearly that Judas is one being singled out and called the son of perdition, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is the only one. Just like there is not just one anti-christ but many. 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

Looking at the end of verse 17…..and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the Scriptures might be fulfilled. The book of psalms give us some insight about which scriptures must be fulfilled. followed by the acknowledging and acting upon by the disciples in the book of Acts

In return for my love they act as my accusers’ psalm 108

Jesus answered, he it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. John 13:26. It should be noted that to give sop to someone in that day and age was a displaying of love and acknowledging of a special friendship. Jesus had just said someone was going to betray him but by extending this special treatment towards Judas threw off all doubt in the disciples minds that it could have been him. That’s why they thought Jesus was sending him off on a mission.

But I am in prayer vs.4
John chapter 17 records Jesus praying

And let his prayer become sin vs.7
Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said What is that to us? See thou to that. Matt 27:4. He threw the money down but the priests knowing it was blood money knew it was not an acceptable offering and could not be put into the treasury, thus bought the field of blood with it.

Let his days be few; vs 8
And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple , and departed, and went and hanged himself. vs.5

The thirty pieces of silver has significance but I don’t have the time or space to go into detail but please read Zechariah chapter 11. When reading keep these verses also from Matthew 27 in mind
Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, and gave them for the potter's field, as the LORD directed me."

Let another take his office vs 8.
For it is written in the Book of Psalms:
"Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it'; and, "Let another take his office.'
Acts 1:20

The apostle Peter addresses the issue of prophesy in the first chapter of Acts that Jesus said must be fulfilled.
Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

The outcome?
And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

I will not respond to the things you accused me of in that post as you may not really have meant them.
