I don't have any virus programs installed.I have the Norton disk but have an aversion to virus programs.

I visually scan all my unread email listed in my inbox and will never open and always delete any messages with or without attachments if I do not know the sender,no exceptions.

Probably should do more.

I do run an intense maintenance program every Sat and only keep 9 mb in cache at one time and only have programs installed that I call "must have production aids".

Last but not least, I format my hard drive and do clean installs on everything every 2 months.

I've made a zip rescue disk with WindowsMe for a friend and all went smoothly. No messages. Any other clues as to what dos driver needed to be replaced?
