Buddy Guy and Shemeka Copeland! Thats gonna be great!! I was driving through St. Louis awhile back and one of the blues stations was doing a feature on her. I think she sounds great. I scribbled her name in a notebook as I was driving, haven't gotten around to getting a CD yet. Should have thought of her when I was on my shopping spree the other day. I agree that Buddy Guy is still vital. Not many like him left. Its sad that a lot of these guys are dying off. I was lucky to see Albert Collins before he died. He died a couple of months after I saw him, which came as a surprise, because he had done two long sets, he was jumping on tables, he was full of energy and having a good time. Maybe thats the way to go. Why linger?
