"And did AMD say they are done - almost done - or nearly done ?"

Yeah, Paul. Not only is AMD unable to produce anything on a timetable without delays, they are also unable to hire contractors that can do work according to a schedule. The work is scheduled to be done by the end of March, it is now close to mid-February. Are you saying there is a schedule slippage? Or do you just like to ask questions with obvious answers?

I have every reason to believe that the oxygen implanters etc. will be done on time. However, there's still a long way to go from having the setup to actually (mass) producing high-quality wafers. Time will tell.

Anyone happen to know if Moto makes their own wafers as well? (do they even have a production SOI process running?)
