Good article. Better than the Street.com interview last week, I thought. I just subscribed to Hickey's newsletter myself.

By the way, Don Hays on Friday morning was still saying that he expects a few months of sideways or mild rally before the markets start the next big downleg. Partly based on the comparison with Nikkei in '90, but also on his various technical indicators.

Just received the latest Brinker newsletter this afternoon... no change in Brinker's views. Nasdaq is in a countertrend rally with potential to above 3000. Rally will last until sometime in the 2nd quarter, and until then "buy the dips". Then another big leg down to a huge buying opportunity.

So actually, Brinker and Hays are still giving very similar outlooks.
