I forgot one critical guru trait - anyone who won't follow you or fear you must be a threat to your control-freak view of the universe. You must slam away at them - in the loudest, most childish terms, of course, laced liberally with playground trash talk and name-calling - so your followers understand that you are true and virtuous and those who don't toe the line will feel your "wrath". Of course, anyone who thinks they can inflict wrath on an Internet chat board is a complete flippin' idiot, but's a topic for another discussion. And so it goes in the goofy guru world.....
