No, I was not aware of this project.

Have you been following the landing coming up on the Asteroid Ero?

Let us hope it goes better than the Mars landings. I will be
reading at sites like "NASA Makes History on Station and on Asteroid"
(http://www.nasa.gov/today/index.html#near_station). This should
not affect the market much for moon rocks in as much as the NEAR
Shoemaker spacecraft will not return to earth.
