Many of us in the tech field in one way or another are very philosophical about options, ipos and the like. I made a small forturne selling the wares of young startup financial service companies. This past year I have taken a substantial hit in the market and in these sales. Just so you know, from one mans perspective in this area, business shows every sign of picking up quickly. Financial service co's need to keep up with the merrills and schwabs in order to stay in business. If they dont they will fall irreparably behind in the next market upturn. They will be spending money. And i suspect this analysis applies to other tech related fields. All of this coming tech spending affects cisco positively. Cisco has set the bar low going forward. So I suspect we will establish that bottom i predicted wrongly at 30 at 25. In any case when we get to 50 the actual low wont matter much. Bears keep shorting. Short interest will trigger price upswings for cisco later on.

PS In one of the article I recently read they talk about constraints being off greenspan on lowering rates because no inflation in the pipeline as it was in 70's and 80's. We are not moving to stagflation or depression. We will ultimately be moving to robust growth. And since nasdaq and consumer psychology are so closely intertwined, AG will do well to give us another interim interest rate fix this week or next.
