Hi Wolf:

Semi's the last two days have done relatively well; I'm not sure why, other than valuations. We see stocks like CSCO coming more in line, and JNPR still greatly overvalued, continuing its decline. We have many semi's with PE's under 20 and perhaps the market has dicounted them enough? LSI is still in the dog house, and I don't see it coming out. Wilf's comments don't help, though he doesn't pull any punches there.

Until next earnings, we're going to be yanked about by continued recessionary news like the MOT layoffs, coupled with positive hopes that the second half will turn everything around. How far ahead will the market price in this depression? Have the semi's thus hit bottom? I'd like to think so, but I'm trying to remain nimble enough to play either way.
