CB, the good ol' boy network is still mostly up and running, but things are a changing. If you're working from the ground up, it ain't easy as a white male. They're looking to promote women or minorities and the supply isn't there to meet the demand, meaning people are moving up the totem pole that shouldn't be. Until things become more balanced, life is a bitch as a young white male in the corporate world. You don't just go from no where to becoming a CEO or a major trial lawyer overnight. I can assure you, from what I see going on, that many women are getting opportunities now and these things take time. They're at the stage now where they're putting in their years at the bottom and middle levels and will be qualified in due time. It will just take some time before things appear more equal. Kind of sucks for people like me, but that's the way it is and I can't change it....

<I wonder how many women have seats on the stock exchanges?>

Whoever has the coin to buy one. But I have to admit that most of my female friends think much of what goes on is disgusting and inappropriate.... they bail when they get the chance.
