I passed on your congratulations and he thanks you. He thinks it's so neat the way you and X encourage and support him! Now- interesting question- because forensics is debate and speech. He competes in the speech part of it- which is thematic interpretations, monologues, duets, prose and poetry... I THINK the Quincy forensics is an abbreviation of forensic science forensic: "belonging to, used in, or suitable to courts of judicature or to public discussion and debate; argumentative rhetorical; relating to or dealing with the application of scientific knowledge to legal problems i.e. forensic medicine, forensic science, forensic pathology, and the subject of forensic experts" (WWWebster Dictionary, on-line).
