Carl admitted to exaggerating to make a point.... Do you consider that to be lying? You love rewriting history, don't you. Carl said in his post that there was a rumor going around. Later he admitted that there was, in fact, no rumor going around. Carl said that he "made it up". That's what I call lying. If you believe that this is not lying, it helps me understand more about why you are the way you are. p.s. Some career advice -- don't ever try to get a job as an historian. You'd be laughed out of the business. p.p.s. I just heard through the grapevine that Micron has settled with Rambus and will be paying royalties on everything. Whadya think? Is that a lie? What if I came back and said that no, I hadn't heard such a thing through the grapevine. Would that be proof that I had lied? Are you getting it yet? Does this help -- (the first definition of "lie" from Webster's) "to utter falsehood with an intention to deceive". p.p.p.s. Thank you for another opportunity to point out that Carl can't be trusted.
