Nice word germaine<G> Anyhow, my argument is connected to the cost of living issue. I doubt one could argue that the majority of people would prefer the CA climate let's say over the climate in Northwest PA. Therfore, there is more demand for property, infrastructure, etc. in CA then where I live. To provide the infrastructure and to balance the supply and demand for real estate, one has to be pepared to pay more. It should cost less to live the same life style (climate excluded) where I live and it does. My point is the difference in the cost of living needs to be even greater.
