Thats correct. I didn't realise for 1/2 the day that the furnace wasn't working....hot water is something you need every minute.

Or you could always do what French are famous for !

I mean the perfumes, of course...<grin>

EDIT: I'm not sure which country it was...Long time back I was on a business trip thru a lot of Europe..and the hotels at one place offered a choice of rooms *with* bathing facilities and without bathing facilities ! I think it may have been France or Germany...don't remember very well...

I do agree with you, however.
Hot water--and showers--are essentials of life!

M
