Poet, what do you show as near-term resistance on the Nasdaq? Is it 2,320? If we drop intra-day 150-points, I'll get my QQQ calls qued up, so to speak.

I'm thinking of getting some QQQ Feb 55 calls tomorrow if we drop 150-points and the QQQ's get to 53-54, which appears to be the resistance point.

From Rambi's post:

Stage 5-- I read the posts of several people whom I had thought of as responsible, intelligent adults, who have now convinced me that my life is too short to continue this ridiculous practice and I thank you all. I feel a new fiscal freedom upon me, a heady anticipation of lucre liberality, monetary madness.

that is funny... i guess balancing check books will quickly make you find out if someone is one of those obsessive compulsive individuals....

in my case, i let quicken do the numbers, and i get it balanced quickly ... no i am not obsessive, but i like "balance" in my life.... -GG-

as for doing something in these markets... oh boy, you are so right... last week NOTHING i would do would turn right.

i am still kicking myself for closing those calls i had.... they were a respectable position, and closed them with meager profits... had i waited a day or two.... well it is now part of history so it does not matter any more. perhaps it is time to open some wine and forget all these chart-voodoo-jorj-O-meter (i loved the jom ).
