Hank, whether the Optomi deal closed and whether these guys are still (or were ever) employed by FSTW seems like something the company should be able to confirm. Simple question of fact. It also seems to me that if the deal was terminated and not closed, that this would be a significant enough fact that it should have been disclosed. I think a direct question on this on the CC would be reasonable. Know anyone who'll be on the call live and able to ask?

BTW, the two VPs mentioned, Ferrari and Zeitlin, were two of the "initial direct holdings statement" filers in January, so it appears they were, at least, employed at the beginning of the year. They are also listed in the Yahoo profile for FSTW as well as on the company Web site. It seems odd, though, that their holdings would be zero if they were the co-founders of a company acquired by FSTW.

Could it be that they came on as employees before closing the deal and it later was terminated? Could it be that it takes >3 months to close a little tiny cross-town deal and they're still working on it? Oh, the press releases from November announcing Optomi and the hires are both no longer listed on the company Web site.

Don't want to speculate too much on this odd set of information, but I am concerned. We need answers. 8:30 Tuesday morning.
