M A R K E T .. S N A P S H O T -- U.S. markets look for relief

NEW YORK (CB.MW) - U.S. markets are looking for relief Monday after a bruising week that saw the Nasdaq plunge 7 percent.

March S&P 500 futures added 2.50 points, or 0.2 percent, and were trading roughly 3.20 points above fair value, according to HL Camp & Co. Nasdaq futures, meanwhile, gained 11.00 points, or 0.5 percent.

Over in the bond arena, the 10-year Treasury note was up 1/32 to yield ($TNX) 5.03 percent while the 30-year government bond shed 1/32 to yield ($TYX) 5.395 percent.

In the currency arena, dollar/yen edged up 0.1 percent to 117.70 while euro/dollar gained 0.3 percent to 0.9277.
