Ted, sometimes I wonder if you have an understanding of basic politics... 1. Ashcroft will be a non factor. Teddy Kennedy just wanted something to ballyhoo about... I think you will be surprised....its rare that someone changes their stripes. 2. People want us to drill the ANWR...they want cheap gas. Really....what polls are you looking at? If they didn't they would cut back on consumption. If a politician wants NOT to be elected he should just wait and see what $4/gallon does to his election chances. People are willing to forget a lot if you deliver a handout, price cut etc.. Its these same people who will complain the loudest when we run out... ted
