I might have to disagree with you rruff regarding Paul Allen wanting to further participate in loaning Metricom funds via any vehicle or that this is a "drop in the bucket" for him.

I read a very interesting article last month (I believe it was first published in the Seattle Times) that many of PA's investments are/were internet related and his net worth and the net worth of the fund that houses many of his investments has decreased markedly over the last year or so. The article went on to mention that PA was investing more these days in finite issues....especially real estate, office buildings, and fine art....because of the overall fear of where the economy was headed.

Dont asssume that PA is the white knight here. I remember his backing of HSAC and CHTR, two companies that are currently seeking additional funding to continue operations through the issuance of additional stock, bonds or notes.

I hate to say this but I think you have fallen in love with this stock. Additonally, with the share price as low as it is I believe most mutual funds/institutions are prohibited from buying.

Jane

Perhaps my time would be better spent on somebody more willing to listen and consider something other than the wishful thinking positive scenarios. I won't bother you anymore since I don't really care how this one ends. Good luck, this will be interesting to watch.
BTW, Metricom is no AOL.
