I count the number of stocks near 52-week high and the number
of stocks near 52-week low as a measure of distribution.

Now we have

All stocks S&P 500 Nasdaq 100
> $5 Stocks Stocks
---------- ------- ----------
Near 52-week high 1445 128 2
Near 52-week low 832 57 47

The tech stocks are in terrible shape. But the S&P 500 stocks
and all stocks > $5 are in good shape.
