I was advised by Key Tronic Corp tech support, to clean the PC board, where the metal contacts are with rubbing alcohol.

I plan on throwing all the plastic keys and case into the sink with some warm soapy water.

The switches and rubber springs are being replaced. You can't clean these switches, and they are wearing out from plastic rubbing on plastic from many years of service.

Cleaning key boards is not practical.
