The fact he used the same excuse as Bill did, "I was just trying to protect my family" made it almost funny. Yea.... that part didn't go over too well with me either. "Protect my family"?? I think he might have been better served if he said I was too embarrassed to tell my family. (Protecting myself) But... who knows. THE WATSONYOUTH

At least W pleaded guilty as charged when he was caught. The "protect the family" was a lame excuse but few are as quick thinking as Clinton who has had a lot of practice lying... He took the penalty, too.

What penalty are you talking about. Could you provide a link. ) when it did come to light he offered a weak excuse, flashed a smile, and then blamed somebody else for his screwup. Now that is real mature behavior, blame someone else. <<<<<<<< When it came to light in Nov. he admitted it, and afaik GW didn't blame anyone else. Can you tell me who and provide a link.
