IMO=in my opinion; IMHO=in my humble opinion Most posters use this convention. I thought you had some scoop here. So you really have no information to say that the USIII chip is messed up do you?

As for the windows/intel/Dell solution for the low end....read about Cobalt...

I certainly would disagree with the idea that WinTel "solutions" are "cheap" (meaning inexpensive). OTOH, the initial capital costs (often a small part of total costs) MIGHT be lower (although not necessarily).

I say this in part as someone who recently returned home to find that the Wintel PC he had been using to access the Internet would no longer boot up.
