It didn't get quite that cold here, but I am digging out of 2 feet of snow. Had to camp out at work for 2 days because I couldn't get up my road. Howsomever, the storm finally motivated my son the car dealer to come up with a truck for me. Lots of my fellow citizens even contributed to saving electricity by volunteering to tear down their power lines with trees, etc. Still had a bunch of unfortunate folks without power the last I heard. This sure taught me the value of a surge protector. I lost two of them, but nothing in the way of equipment, fortunately. My buddy lost his box during the same power surge, despite having a very expensive protector. Fortunately, they guarantee to cover the loss. The ChilledVanada Kid
