Probably the first important guy to make that statement recently AG, who happens to be federal reserve chairman. Secondly, I didn't say Bush doesn't know what the warning signs are now, I just said that GW was repeating AG phrase. Maybe GW and AG discussed it during their meeting. It might help...JNPR is eating CSCO's lunch and their forward guidance two weeks ago was excellent.<< That is the point; it might help. The simple fact is that right now, most of the business leaders, AG, ONeil, 80% of congress as well as the president want a tax cut. A tax cut is going to happen. The question now is how much and when. If he has good reasons, he seems to be having trouble articulating them....and many economists along with the WSJ have shown why his tax cut will not do what he suggests it will.<<<<<<<<< GW is not a great speaker. You will get no argument from me on that point. However, trying to imply that modest speaking skills implies he is stupid, or cannot be a leader, will get an argument. As far as the WSJ stating that his tax cut won't do what GW suggests, what did the WSJ say, that we need a bigger tax cut? BTW I am smart enough to understand what AG considers to be the warning signals. Are you suggesting that Bush's reasons are so complex that even an AG would not understand? No I am not claiming nor am I in denial...Gore did win. I rest my case. Only Bush and Republicans are claiming the need...the others are going along for political reasons.<<<<<<<< In other words, the dems are a bunch of two faced cowards who would sell out the country for a few votes.
