Either way, it is an IBM curiosity chip - to be used solely in IBM machinery.

It will be interesting to see. I have long felt that MCP was going to be the next big step in computer performance. This particular implementation may be too power hungry, but the performance is going to be phenomenal.

Was it 115 W per chip, and therefore 450W for the whole module?
