...I'm having difficulty reading the NDX, to be honest about it. SnP-500 has a line in the sand right here (Friday CLOSE of ~1315). In general, the weekly charts look terrible; perhaps we could interpret the TMW.X - Total Market weekly chart as "pulling back" to DownTrend Line it busted out of, implication being, "finding support this week" thus. I dunno !

MDY is interesting for still hanging in there, relatively speaking: from what I can tell, this is from all these MidCap BioTech and Energy companies? Sometimes the QQQubes just get too weird for me, and I'll switch to MDY options (we're talking "trading", not intermediate or, long-term) in an effort to reduce the damn volatility ~ may do that, dunno... would make sense for the QQQubes to rally up to 62~63 area for options expiry ;-)

otoh, and oddly enough ~ I am more encouraged by the SOX.X NWX.X and BTK.X sector charts that drive the NDX (and to some extent, MDY).

fer some reason, I feel bullish about the silly SOX.X chart: it acts like it doesn't want to go down -? AMAT might destroy all that, a la CSCO; we'll see.

the dominant feature, current driver of the NDX appears to be the NWX.X sector: when it turns, the NDX will turn. I'd like to see investors buying NT/ALA/GLW/JDSU, iow "rotate out of CSCO and buying into other networkers" rather than selling off the whole baby/bath water, etc.

BTK.X ...ah, if we had ANY ballz, we'd be exploring this whole new universe of TechStox (^_^)

best wishes for another profitable week, Dude!
