I am old enough to remember a certain country in Europe that was happy no matter what its leader did as long as the trains ran on time. The last eight years has shown us that character DOES COUNT.

Dear Jeff: I read Dave Roses reply to you and he is right on. I have had this growing fear that fraud and corruption practiced on such a glaring scale with the Clinton Administration with seeming impunity was going to lead to a corrupt government forever. Anyone who doubts anything on Clinton need merely look at where he was 8 years ago, his income level and his assets and compare that to what he has today. He didnt amass that great wealth on a Govt. salary even as President.
Anyhow, Bush and this Ascroft are looking to me like a BREATH OF FRESH AIR. I hope they get us on the right path. JDN
