Both SEBL and PSFT gave very upbeat presentations today along the lines that demand was terrific, visibility pristine, yadda, yadda. No hint of any slowdowns in their various enterprise software areas.

I think w/r/t ORCL that the "float" from LE's option exercise and sales is working its way through the price. I can't remember which house handled the business (maybe ML), but they buy the big whacks direct from LE and then "distribute" on the open market. So, you don't necessarily end up with long-term investors holding the shares - and to the extent the sell-side house ends up with more shares in inventory than they'd like, those can get dumped on any whiff of bad news.

Just MHO, and anyway, today, things kind of leveled out.
