You'd have to be a former Miami and Ft Lauderdale scooter jockey to understand, friend..... They are basically sweet (..very little..) ol' ladies, who have long past the time they should be driving. Yet, they invariably have to go for their 2 hour 35mph cruise during rush hours - in cars that look like they were built for Wilt the Stilt or Arnold the Terminator..... As they can only see between the steering wheel loop and top of the dashboard (..and can't turn their heads to the left or right due to arthritis..) - they have a tendency to pull out onto Flagler Blvd, etc., right into the paths of oncoming cycles... (been there - done that, more than once). Their miniature French pedicured poodles are usually perched on the drivers armrest, so gazing to the left would garner them an affectionate slurp in the face. The only reason they still have a license, is that hubby or jr. is some tall building attorney or judge; get it. Don't be so phurucquing uptight, if I wanted to be insulting - you would have had no doubt about my intentions. John :-)
