We have seen numbers like 1.1 - 1.2 GHz for McKinley, probably for release in that range. First silicon probably slower, don't know by how much. Anyway, booting Linux one week after first Si is not too shabby. The guy over on The Motley Fool also agrees that Splinter replacing Yu was a key move. In his British way, he said Splinter was "streets ahead of Yu." I guess that's British. He thinks the blunder days are put behind, hopefully for good.
