I remember a conservative reporter revealing how enthusiastic a lot of the press was over the Sandanistas, how charismatic they found Daniel Ortega, how they took seriously the idea that finally the 60s generation was taking over a contrary, how they bought the "Revolution of Poets" line.......

DMA--funny, but the Congress passed a LAW outlawing aid to the contras, and whether or not you and Ronald Reagan thought it SHOULD have been a law or not, it WAS a law. No one forced Reagan/North and company to break the law, and last I checked Reagan took an oath to uphold the law....
