Um...how to word this so as not to offend?

I suggest that a broker who tells me he can put my money into a security that pays me $100 per month is talking about dividends whereas the broker who tells me he can put my money in a security that will increase by 10%/mo is talking through his hat...and I would like to suggest that his hat is not being worn on his head.
