PS - thinking to pick up some good long candidates for short term trade today to sell within next 10 days.

Congratulations on your profits, Gohm. I remember your posts and comments back in November of 2000 about how the bear was going to strike much harder than any of us could have imagined. He's been striking - that's for sure. You name it, it's been hit in technology.

Hope the results speak louder than words. Still holding 1/3 of my original short shares.

Cool. I'm still holding my 1999 shares. A few years left in the technology adoption life cycle for NGN. I look forward to your post in a few years to see if the results speak louder than the words.

It's only been 2 1/2 months since then and you did quite well in that time frame as the cork screw tightened. I've still got a few years left to see if my time frame was worth the 'amusement' as we approach the two year anniversary of Juniper Networks going public and move forward into the build out of the new infrastructure. Where will Juniper be three years, four years, five years, six years, etc... from now? Who knows?

I figure I should turn over a portion of my money to SpyTrader for a fee and see if he can boost my returns via his excellent shorter term trading while I try to dig through the past 20 years of investing to convince myself that there still is value in long term investing going forward and the world has not come to an end. In the meantime, I have been taking the time to educate myself about many things I was unaware of in the past in hopes that in the future it will broaden my horizons and sight in the future. As with any education process, the learning curve takes time, effort and discipline.
