rossmrm:******OFF TOPIC***Market direction

I think CA weighs heavily on the Nasdaq, techs and JDSU.
CA is a HEAVY tech center.
They own a lot of stock, options etc.
+/- 7% of US economy. Bigger share i think in tech ( I don't know the number ).

Calif. has just been hit with multiple deaths in the family all at the same time:

-Nasdaq down, their shares and options are in the ditch.
-lay offs
-they put all their faith in AlGore and their savior is gone.
-Hollywood's icon, Billy Boy with side kick Tonto aka Al
are gone .
-their worst nightmare is in the White House: A non drinker
religious rightist perceived to be bent on overturning
50years of Berkley, CA. grown Leftist philosophy
and Roe v. Wade, the CA females' holy grail.
-a similar Congress
-they have to paymore for energy
-GWB is not coming in with another handout in energy
-they have no savingshttp://www.dismal.com/todays_econ/te_020701_2.asp
-they lost the election
-they have a mentally retarded government

I may have left a few things out.

My thinking:

This Nation can survive CA.
Whatever CA looses through their myopia and mismanagement,
MY State will gain, as CA companies come out here.
We got a great State with fantastic Universities, and infrastructure.
We are one of The " Ant " States :

In fact , if companies leave CA to come here, that will provide
a giant boost to our and the Nation's economy
as these companies have to rebuild new factories.
It will be painful for CA but CA has to learn
that mistakes have painful consequences and that they are
responsible for paying for their mistakes. Not others,

TA

>>I don't see anything to say we're at a bottom so far

I've been saying that for awhile...I think the bottom may be like $37-$38...Hey, isn't that what initially got me in trouble on this thread! :^)
