Once having said something on your behalf, I had left this thread to itself, without bookmarking it. I decided to peek in today, and am appalled to see the ease with which it has degenerated. Let me once again say: Enforcing Terms of Use without chilling discussion and driving people away is a thankless task, but someone has to do it, or others will be driven away in disgust or because of wanton attack. Anyone who steps up to the plate with an attempt at even- handedness and good humor, as I think you did, deserves a pat on the back, not the attack you received earlier from one of our more belligerent members....... Lest he feel slighted, let me mention that in my experience, Jeff is a good guy too......

Again, some folks here need to either develop a thicker skin or at least a sense of humor...name calling, by someone (CB) who so vehemently supports someone who is in the business of suspending name callers was pretty funny...mine was simply akin to MTV asking Chris Rock why he curses so much and he responds "look you @#@$#@!, I could give a s#$$@% about your...", and hence my reference to SI Boob and pretending to be offended by name calling...get it?!...pretty tame stuff, but I can also recall the time you and Jeff changed my new alias from "SIBOOB" to "I like Bob"...I thought mine was pretty funny, I thought your response was funny as well, although it may have been against my rights as a user to change my alias and perhaps I will ask CB to represent me against INSP for the deep loss of face I have suffered (again, just a j-o-k-e). ....and no, I don't keep a straight face ANYTIME I post on SI...life's too short, put a smile on.

Gee, looks like TLC got one of them "purged message" thingies for saying something to someone that was less than flattering...I could only guess that what he said was pretty darned inflammatory and would further venture to guess that he'd be suspended for quite sometime for his actions....but hey, wait a minute!!...the guys is still posting like a madman...no suspension, nada!...how can this be?...are we to think there are double standards with respect to how SI admin folks address violations of TOU?? Personally, I have NEVER had a post deleted, yet I've been suspended more than once...by inference, guess my posts were just offensive enough to get me suspended, but not offesive enough to purge, so what would that make TLC's recent post and SI Admin's associated actions??...I do know for a fact that TLC, just like CB has these little cyberbuddies at SI Admin and this should more than shelter him from such things....yes?
