I am especially concerned about Wilf's comments with a hard landing scenerio as he is now convinced we are in a hard landing than what he predicted during the conference call which was more of a soft landing.

By nature he has always been optimistic and that is why I am a bit concerned! He maybe trying to do what John Chambers tried to do 2 weeks prior to CSCO's earnings which was basically to send a pre-warning of revenue/earnings shortfall. So Wilf might be doing the same thing. It would be interesting to see what he says tomorrow in that tech conference.

I dont think during all these 5 vyears of holding on to LSI I ever came to be so worried before as I have come very close to sell all my LSI shares with the 40%-50% gain that I have had during these years!! It is needless to say how painful it would be to sell at $20 when I had a chance to sell at $90! So considering how I am thinking right now, perhaps it is an indication that things are near or at the bottom, and we should see the worst of things behind us!!! That is if I - who ha sbeen the super optimist - am about to throw in the towel then things must really be at the bottom!
