Actually, I don't think that quote.com provides historical tick-by-tick data. It's a massive amount of data, and not easy to come by. There are probably sources other than Tick Data, but them immediately came to mind because they've in in the business of providing that kind of data for years. (Just for commodities, though, in the past. I see that they have recently begun providing it for stocks as well.)
