JNPR is presenting this Wedneday at the Robertson Stephens 18th Annual Technology Conference in San Francisco.

That's February 14th.

CEO, Scott Kriens and Investor Relations Director, Randi Feigin will present.

We might expect a mid-quarter progress update from them. As JNPR is way oversold, this might be a catalyst for a nice rally if the forward-looking statements are positive.

JNPR's closed today significantly above its low of the day, which bodes well as buyers came in and fearlessly bought up shares below $80. A lot of the selling is probably margin selling which should abate when we have a day that we close significantly higher than the prior close. After GreenSpan delivers his biannual Humphrey Hawkins address to the Senate on Tuesday morning, stocks will have more direction.

Also very encouraging for the tone of the Nasdaq is that CSCO has had its first rally since their earnings announcement: up 4.9%. A substantial amount of buyers like CSCO at these prices in spite of their slowdown forecast.

it will have a small oversold bounce / rally to resistance at some point, but that's all.
nothing to write home about.
$ 100 has become insurmountable resistance.
